Cottage Brick Effect Wall Tile

Our Cottage Brick Effect Wall Tile offers a truly unique and perfect replica of real cottage/country brick making them one of our most sought after brick effect tiles!

Each tile is that of the size of a standard house brick measuring in at 24.6cm x 6cm and to add to the authentic brick effect is its raised profile and matt finish making these tiles look and feel like brick.

The colour scheme is a variable mix of cream, clay and ivory making them a light tile suitable for use in the house where light may be restricted so not to darken the room.

These tiles are made from ceramic and are suitable to be used within the home although we would advise not to use them directly near an open fire as they are not as strong as some of their porcelain counter parts.

These tiles have been manufactured in multiple prints and slight size variations to add to the authenticity. The tiles have a slight raised texture which varies from one tile to another. The tile size is 246mm x 60mm making them easy to work with and matching that of real bricks. To complete the desired effect of a brick effect wall it is important to ensure a grout line that of the width of what is found in house bricks is kept and we would advise 6-10mm.

Applebys think that these Light brick effect tiles look best with a 6-10mm grout line and our Silver Grey Grout. You will need 3kg for every 3m2.

Don't forget your adhesive! These tiles require fixing to the wall using our tile adhesive. You will need 1 x 20kg bag of rapid setting white adhesive per every 4m2 of tiles and we recommend a 6mm trowel.
