Made in Spain our Blue Port Pattern Tile actually takes its inspiration and design from the history of Portugal!. These hexagon Blue tiles are beautiful and incredibly details but thats not the only reason we have added them to our site.

Taking you through history, these Blue Port Pattern Tiles actually celebrate Portugals history particularly their tiling history. Many centuries ago the Moors started creating these hand-painted ‘azulejo’ tiles to the Iberian peninsula and over the centuries, almost every conceivable surface was decorated in captivating works of tiled art. So much so that today, blue and white pattered tiles have become synonymous with Portugal.

Anyway enough of the history lets talk about these Blue Port Pattern Tiles. The tile themselves are of a hexagon shape which is proving immensely popular in 2019 due to their modern flair and character. The tiles have various patterns which have been designed to mix and match with one another to create a display of nothing more then moder/retro art.

The Blue Port Pattern Tile measures 17.6cm x 20.1cm and has a gloss finish. They are porcelain bodied so are suitable to be used on walls and floors and with the use of underfloor heating.
